“Celebration of 80th Independence Day – 15 August 2026”
The Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 with immense pride, patriotism, and enthusiasm.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was attended by the faculty members, officers, staff, and students of the Faculty, who came together to commemorate this significant national occasion.
The programme provided an opportunity to remember with gratitude the indomitable courage and sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to honour the dedication of those who continue to protect the sovereignty, unity, and integrity of our nation.
On this solemn occasion, the Faculty reaffirmed its commitment to the values of academic excellence, integrity, inclusivity, social responsibility, and nation-building. The gathering also reflected upon the role of educational institutions in nurturing responsible, ethical, and visionary citizens who can contribute meaningfully to the development of a progressive and self-reliant India.
