A workshop on “Three Tiers of Governance in India and City Governance” was conducted by Praja Foundation for the students of MURP and MIPM. The session provided valuable insights into the functioning of governance at the Union, State, and Local levels in India. The resource persons explained the structure, roles, and responsibilities of various governing bodies, with special focus on urban local governance. The interactive discussion enhanced students’ understanding of policy implementation and citizen participation in city administration.
