"Investor Awareness Programme Held at FOAP, AKTU"
The Faculty of Architecture & Planning (FOAP), Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, organized an Investor Awareness Programme on 9 October 2026 in collaboration with Niveshala Edutech LLP, an incubated and supported start-up of AKTU. The programme was conducted under the aegis of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) World Investor Week initiative.
The session was conducted by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Pandey, SEBI Securities Market Trainer, who shared valuable insights into personal finance, savings, investment options, risk management, mutual funds, and financial security.
The programme aimed to help faculty members and students make informed financial decisions, understand investment opportunities, and recognize the risks associated with financial fraud and mis-selling. Separate sessions were conducted for faculty members from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and for students from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smart Class, FOAP.
The programme provided useful financial knowledge and encouraged participants to develop responsible investment habits and greater awareness of financial safety.
