“SUMMER GARDEN AT BUCHHOLZ”
The Landscape Design Competition "SUMMER GARDEN AT BUCHHOLZ " challenged
final-year architecture students of Faculty of Architecture and Planning, AKTU to create
sustainable, aesthetically appealing, and functional gardens, emphasising on planting strategies
and community engagement. Approximately 50 students participated in the team of two and a
total of 26 design entries submitted. Winning entries were selected by the jury panel at LandkunstLeben and will be exhibited
in March 2024 in Buchholz, Germany.
This was a collaborative project between LandKunstLeben and FOAP. The theme encouraged
participants to explore the harmonious coexistence of human-made and natural elements with
a focus on sustainability and environmental consciousness.
